The Bar-Ilan School of Optometry and Vision Sciences’ mobile optometry clinic began a unique outreach project with nursing home patients at the Herzog Medical Center in Jerusalem. The goal of the project is to increase patients’ ability to communicate and engage with the world through improved vision. The mobile clinic provided optical treatment to 25 intubated patients at the medical center.
